PositiveCaring staff. Clean home. They keep my mother clean- regular baths, quick to change her when needed, very communicative. There won't be too many activities from what I can tell. They do gather in the living room to watch shows together and eat meals together though. It feels a lot more like a home than a facility which is nice

PositiveI like that it is a smaller facility that is just a residential home, which makes the environment more intimate and less overwhelming for memory care residents (such as my grandma) and each resident receives round-the-clock care. I also enjoy that all of the meals are fresh and not frozen and are catered to each individual resident in the event of dietary restrictions. The alarms on the doors provide extra peace of mind as well.

PositiveEverything is amazing. 5 all across the board. The staff is very knowledgeable of Alzheimer's/dementia and how to care for patients accordingly while also being very personable. PositiveWe picked this community, because I spoke with someone initially, and they said they had somewhere in mind that would work for us and they would contact them. The next person called back in less than 30 minutes. They are very caring, and aware of stress-difficulties families are facing, trying to find care for their loved ones.
★★★★★
PositiveGood value for the money. Responsible owner with good oversight for safety and overall care. However, don't expect planned activities or exercise.

PositiveMy father had Dementia and it became difficult for mom to care for him at home in his final months. We were fortunate to find Caring Well in Silver Spring, MD through A Place for Mom. [name removed] and [name removed] provided dad's primary care and they were wonderful. They communicated often with us and were always on top of his care. We went to the home almost daily to visit dad and we always felt comfortable there. The home is spotless and easy to navigate as it's one level living.
