PositiveActivities of one kind or another pretty much all day. I'm a pretty much a loner and avid reader so I spend most of my day with my books and streaming movies on NETFLIX which I pay for. There's enough staff to make it interesting and they're all friendly. The smiles and chatter between staff and clients seem genuine. Games and interesting classes and activities pretty much up until dinner. Food is good with several different choices for each meal except breakfast (there's only so much you can do with breakfast) whi…

PositiveBased on my mom's comment and my observations, I would give a 5 for all of above, but for food. Food gets a 3 because of breakfast. The buffet for breakfast is not ideal as the food is cold by the time you get it to your table. Everything else has been excellent. No problems with communication with the family.

PositiveHighly recommend Cascade Heights. Friendly people very attentive staff. Lots of options

PositiveMy Mom is very happy at Cascade Heights. She thinks that the food is better than her previous residence in Chicago. I agree, the food is all from scratch and they don't scrimp on the portions. The staff are very helpful, but will leave you to do your thing if that's what you want. I'm very glad to have made this move for her.
★★★★★
PositiveI tell people that it is a lovely place to live. They give her good care. It's clean and she's safe as someone lays eyes on her several times a day. My only lingering issue is that I wish I had someone to call with small questions and concerns. It takes a while for the resident and their support people ( I'm not family. There isn't any.) to adjust and the devil is in the details.
★★★★★
PositiveI would recommend it to others. I told my mom that if I can live in a place like Cascade Heights when I am old I will be very happy. We picked this community because it was very good. Residents were all very positive about it.
