Overall, we’ve had a very positive experience with this facility. The staff are responsive, caring, and attentive, and the building itself is clean and well-maintained. That said, there are a few areas that need improvement. There seems to be some disconnect between higher-level medical providers and CNAs, which has led to occasional challenges with medication and care distribution. From the first tour, the staff was attentive to our needs and really listened to our concerns. In addition to having 24 hour staff to assist Mom with her daily tasks, they have social activities for the residents every day. Mom isn't isolated anymore like she was in her house. Another deciding factor was that she could bring her cat with her. There is a monthly charge for that, but Mom wouldn't have agreed to move if she couldn't take her cat. They have daily morning devotions (optional) which Mom participates in. …

Director and staff are excellent! Facility is clean and my Moms 1 bedroom is spacious, comfortable and gets great light! The only reason I didn't give them a 5 is the food. It's very low quality and poor. The presentation and taste are often subpar.

What they could improve on would be the meals and dining. They could have better menu items and less spices. Our loved one has issues with a lot of spices and food in the cabbage family. However, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Cedar Creek is a perfect place for my mother. When we first began looking, she did not want to leave her home. However, she was not safe at home, having fallen numerous times and needed ER care. While she was able to tend to most of her daily living chores, she could not remain at home due to her health. The facility is a great fit for her, allowing many social reasons for her to interact with others.
