It's a large community & can be overwhelming to some people. They have high acuity residents that require total care & it's hard for the care assistants to keep up with their team. My mom has noise intolerance & the dining room can be very noisy. They encourage activities but she doesn't like to be around a lot of people & noise. The food is good most of the time. You can order food from their everyday menu or choose the daily special. They have residents that have mild to severe Alzheimer's. The staff are very nic…

Our Experience

This place is memory care only. No assisted living mixed in. They take the tough cases. Really liked management- always willing to talk. Staff was great as well considering their work environment- but they obviously needed additional help- especially at night. Very clean - everyone pitches in.

Very nice tour and staff. Impressed that this facility is dedicated to memory care, no assisted living, etc. They have a professional staff with more medical support than most. Seem more equipped to handle physical disabilities.

Overall great community for dementia patients

[name removed] was super helpful and checked in on how things were going. My mom is doing well at Cedarhurst in Springfield, MO. I would recommend them because they have the best staffing, keep you informed of how they are doing, what they are participating in and any changes.

Anonymous please Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Facility is very nice and clean, they plan adequate activities

Dad was only there for a short time. He was unable to understand spoken words or talk. However, everyone was extremely nice and accommodating. We had no issues. I would absolutely recommend them to others who are needing to find care for their loved ones.
