Wonderful home, just like family

My father loved living here, it became home to him within a few days. The staff in the dining room were attentive and treated him like a member of their family. The caregivers were prompt and respectful when entering his room. He always said “If you ask anyone for help they will help you “ I noticed times when residents didn’t have to ask, the staff were already helping. My wife had an 11 month stay at Chestnut Knoll in Boyertown. Her physical and mental condition required a lot of support and understanding at the beginning and the staff at Chestnut Knoll was up to the task. Many times going out of their way to assist her. Through their continued care and the assistance of FOX Therapy she made a series of improvements that allowed her to return home recently. My father spent just over one year in the memory care unit at Chestnut Knoll before his passing in March 2026. The care he received was no less than exceptional. There was a period of time for him to get adjusted, but the staff worked patiently with my father to make him comfortable in his new surroundings. With furnishings from my father's previous home, his room was a safe and spacious accommodation. My mother was a resident at Chestnut Knoll for three years. She was in the assisted living area first however was on the memory care area until her passing in October 2025. The staff at Chestnut Knoll quickly became our family as they cared for my mother. Some days were challenging since my mother could be tough. My wife was a resident at Chestnut Knoll for the last 6 months in[Date Removed]and 2 months in early[Date Removed]. The care provided to her was excellent and the staff was always friendly and efficient. I had some meals with her and the food is very good. The only reason she is no longer at Chestnut Knoll is her need for Medical Assistance with the costs.
