We offer you and your loved ones a premier assisted living experience at any of our Columbia Cottage communities. We were the first in Pennsylvania to have multiple communities licensed as Assisted Living, and we continue to be the only licensed Assisted Living residence in the areas we serve. Initially there was some confusion over mechanical soft diet order, and there are not as many options for special diets. Some of the activities are more childish than others. It is costly for the level of care given, but we are willing to pay more peace of mind that Moms getting quality care.

Excellent experience. Staff is caring and competent. Home-like atmosphere with all levels of staff involved in creating a family atmosphere. Picked this community for the ability to have a high level of care in an assisted living environment. Will have my mother stay through end of life, which means the world to have her in as friendly and supportive environment and not have to move her to another facility at the end when she needs the comfort of familiar caregivers.

My father was a resident at Columbia Cottage and overall his experience at this facility was okay. The cleanliness was great. However, I was not thrilled with the restrooms. They were not extremely ADA efficient for elderly care: no walk in shower and the toilet seats were low. I also wasn't thrilled with the placement of the emergency help pull string.
