Whether it’s a long-term stay or brief respite, Cliff View Terrace prioritizes comfort and an exceptional quality of life. We provide care to residents with a wide variety of functional, medical, behavioral and social needs. We are licensed to care for residents who are non-ambulatory as well as those requiring dementia special care and hospice services. Cliff View Terrace is the only facility in Santa Barbara with an on-site Medical Director, who is a Board-Certified Geriatrician with a practice exclusive to this facility. Of course, we welcome primary care providers and specialists to continue to care for their patients who are our residents as well. Physical, occupational and speech therapy and home health nursing services are available. Cliff View Terrace’s amenities and activities remind residents that it’s the little things in life that can make all the difference. Residents can enjoy exercise classes, religious services, live music, movies, bingo, arts and crafts, a beauty salon, and more. Families and friends are encouraged to spend quality time with their loved ones and enjoy the immaculate, tasteful surroundings and lovely grounds. Visitors feel welcome and comfortable in the accessible location on the Mesa in Santa Barbara. Cliff View Terrace resembles more of a luxury resort than an assisted living facility. The ornate, eye-catching, yet homey décor puts residents at ease as they enjoy elegant armoires, floral bedspreads and curtains, comfortable chairs and framed artwork. Many rooms open onto a serene, exquisitely landscaped courtyard, ideal for leisurely visits. Good company and good food are life’s simple pleasures. Our Executive Chef and dietary staff provide fresh and delicious culinary delights that are tailored to each resident’s individual physician orders. Residents can enjoy the luxurious dining room with picture windows overlooking the Pacific Ocean or dine in their own room.
