The desk staff (management) go out of the way to be friendly and helpful. Also when the dining room is short staffed they pitch in to take care of everyone timely. The social activities vary and are very stimulating. It varies from exercise to puzzles to lectures from professors. Residents get along with this example and find new friends.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone that needs the services that is offered here. I have been here almost a year and have not regretted my decision to stay here.

Beautiful community and very inviting when you walk in. Exceptionally clean. [name removed], was very friendly when touring and did a great job. The Director, [name removed], introduced herself and was very nice, as well! All the residents were very welcoming.

Mixed review

Mom and dad said they loved the apartment, the neighbors were friendly, the staff was so kind, and the cost was reasonable. However, my dad has digestive issues and is on a very strict diet. They discussed dietary issues with them before they moved in and were assured it would not be a problem. But many times there was nothing on the menu he could eat. There was also a very tight window for mealtime and if you weren't there, you missed it. Coordinating doctors' appointments and errands around mealtime became a real…

Your parents truly were a lovely couple, and it was a pleasure having them as part of the College View community, even for a short time. I’m genuinely sorry that their stay didn’t ultimately meet all of their needs, and I appreciate you sharing both the positives and the challenges they experienced. Our team works hard to provide a supportive and welcoming environment for every resident, so we’re especially glad to hear your kind words about the team, neighbors, and the apartment itself. Regarding your father's dietary needs, I know our culinary director had several in-depth conversations with him to understand and accommodate his preferences. While we made every effort to meet those requirements, I regret that the flexibility and offerings fell short at times for him. We continue to explore ways to expand our meal options and mealtime flexibility, and feedback like yours plays a valuable role in that process. Safety is always a top priority for us, and and while I completely understand how disruptive fire alarms can be, our system is designed to respond immediately to any potential smoke or fire hazard. During the time your parents were with us, we did experience more frequent alarms, often due to everyday cooking incidents or the placement of room humidifiers. This was a community-wide concern we addressed in several Town Hall meetings and have since taken steps to reduce unnecessary alarms while maintaining safety protocols. Ultimately, we know every family has unique needs and preferences, and while we were sad to see them go, we also understand and respect their decision to find a setting that better aligned with their goals. Caring Community

She is happy there, having fun and making friends. She is no longer isolated like she was living south of town. The cleanliness must be a 5 because she's always been about hospital clean. She's shared no negative comments with me about cleanliness. She relates interactions with staff and residents to me frequently. Staff is always positive and caring. Most residents are great. Anything she needs done in her apartment, they are up there immediately to do it. She is also pleased with the weekly cleaning and laundry s…
