Overall it was good. Cleanliness of the facility - always tidy in the common areas. Both parents rooms were often not very clean but that was more related to their illnesses and frequent GI issues than anything. As soon as staff got them cleaned up, parents promptly uncleaned. Friendliness - Everyone from director to maintenance was always friendly and helpful Quality of care - good. Do your due diligence, visit the places, talk to both residents and staff to get a better understanding of how happy they are living and working there. In our experience at Commonwealth, the staff was very caring and really good to my dad. They were short staffed, but did their best. They did the best with the food they had to work with. The nursing staff would keep me in the loop. I never was able to get in contact with [name removed]. The hospice folks were helpful.
