Our activities director is awesome, I wish I had her energy! And our manager always makes herself available to help with anything or just to chat. And our maintenance guy takes care of our needs quickly. We are a fun group! In fact, we had a summer fun day and our activities director and handyman were the "victims" of the dunk tank. We all had many belly laughs watching each other. I Iike it here

I enjoy the people. I don't utilize the activities as much as others might as I am active outside of the building and many residents are closer to 80 than to 55 yo. The activities director is great! She is directed by corporate much more than necessary yet she perseveres. The owning corporation raised the rent on both apartments and garages yet were slow to get our security system repaired/replaced quickly this past year and exercise equipment needs to be updated to the needs of seniors. I am not at the LaVista Connect 55+ but I am at the Connect55+on 72nd street of Omaha I love it here. I came here and I was using a walker and or cane and now about 2 months later I am not using either one. People are so friendly here, a lot of activities. We have exercised every morning except weekend. We have Potlucks, cook offs, silent actions, bingo and many other card and board games. We have Church every Sunday and one every other Wednesday morning and we have bible study at night. We had a Valentine breakfas…

External waste container should be larger or emptied more frequently. There are monthly group outings for dinning which is nice. There is an on site maintenance man to help change light bulbs and fire alarm batteries.
