The facility has a home-like feel unlike other places and is usually very clean. The staff is very friendly unless you have a disagreement, which has been rare so far. She is also under hospice care, so between the facility and hospice, I feel she is well cared for—better than the last two places she was in. There is only one administrator plus the aides, and I think they do a great job, at least from what I see and hear when I visit. I am very pleased with the Staff at the Cottage of Davison..they seem to care deeply about their patients and treat them like a family. They are very adaptable to every patient's needs. Shaunda the manager is amazing and is willing to talk anytime and is open to any suggestions..Also Cam is very attentive to everyone's needs. PositiveBest place for my mom
My mother was placed by myself as I fell in love with The Cottage of Davison. The warm colors, murals on the walls, the themes of each room. The staff was very patient with her as she had dementia and struggled to walk at most times. She was getting weaker as time went on, her body was just giving up. I was greated warmly as I was there almost every day at least once. She was there just under a month. And now she is laid at peace with my dad.
