Country Meadows a shinning star in the senior living communities.

From the perspective of the caregiver, Country Meadows South was a God send. I moved my 93 year old mother to PA from CA. Needless to say the move was highly stressful. It took the moving company three weeks. I only new at the very end when and where the furniture was. Country Meadows kindly furnished the room until her furniture arrived. I moved my mom into the Connections Memory Care of Country Meadows at Leader Heights in March of 2023. The care she and I both have been receiving since the day we walked in the front door is exceptional! My cousin is a resident in the Memory Community at Country Meadows in the York South facility. I can’t say enough about the staff. These are caring people who have genuine personal relationships with the residents. While they lovingly care for the residents they also take time to share daily details and answer family’s questions. My brother and I situated our Dad in this facility in mid 2016. He was initially in independent living. As he needed more care he was moved to the memory care level of service and cost doubled. I generally feel his care is adequate but as a for profit facility it comes at a premium ($8000) per month. Originally there was a pool and recreational facility but closed due to cost. There should be a reduction of fees but wasn’t. Seems we pay more for less.
