CriticalReview for CountryHouse Omaha
Wasn't totally satisfied with them. We would question them about things and it was always we are short handed. Their house keeping needs little help at times also.

About the community
CountryHouse in Omaha was designed and is staffed specifically for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia. From our many years of experience working with those needing memory care and their families, we know that consistency, security, comfort and a sense of well-being are some of the most important needs to be met. That sounds a lot like home – and that’s why treating people like family is at the core of what we do at CountryHouse. This isn’t a “typical” memory care community. Just walk in the doors and you’ll understand why. You’ll experience dancing, music, crafts and family members of all ages gathered around to visit. You’ll hear laughter and see smiles, as residents return from a daily adventure out on the town. You’ll see gentle direction from patient caregivers, a soothing environment and a loving atmosphere. You’ll notice residents moving freely about, exploring, chatting, or perhaps enjoying the sun in the beautiful backyard. Most of all, you'll feel a sense of warmth and family. This is an active, joyful community where staff and residents have close, caring relationships, where residents are comfortable, safe and secure and where families can enjoy their time visiting together. Visit soon and experience this for yourself. Recognized in U.S. News & World Report's 2025 Best Memory Care! With high-performing accolades for Memory Care - Feels like Home; and Memory Care - Food & Dining!

PositiveEveryone was very friendly and provided lots of information and were very helpful in the decision and moving process. The rooms are nicer and the house much more interesting than the other memory care facilities I toured. Also there are more residents so better chance of my high functioning sister to find friends. Not as much communication or responsive now that we’re moved in as I expected but everything has gone very well. I’m comfortable that if I needed their attention on an issue they would be supportive. PositiveOverall experience was 4. I would give 5's to Cleanliness, friendliness, food, Administrative staff and activities. Quality of care was good overall (4 rating) but too often had to wait quite a while or track down a caregiver to help to come help at times. The facility was very nice, but pretty costly and would rate that a 3 based on care received. The facility is very nice and the staff was always very welcoming. I would advise others to make sure on same page with staff at facility regarding care expectations. T…
