PositiveMy ratings as 4 for activities is that they don't appear to promote or take the residents out of the building much. Compared to what I had expected. As for Value - seems like comparable to others... so not sure I'd argue it's a great value. More on par. So not bad. Just not what I would say is super great pricing.

PositiveI have always had pleasant experiences with both the staff and the residents. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I manage Mom's care long distance and they are very easy to work with and keep me updated whenever there is an issue with Mom.

PositiveThe staff members are very friendly. My father was matched up with some other men that had common interests. So no considers them new friends. Which is amazing. He would say the kitchen staff is really friendly and food is great!

PositiveEveryone at Devon Oaks is incredibly kind and caring. They work closely with residents’ families. The food is fantastic and the residents are like family to each other. Everything is clean and well kept. It truly is a wonderful place. We feel so lucky to have found it and breathe a sigh of relief every time our father says how much he loves his new home there.

PositiveWe are pleased with the facility in general. I suppose they all have their problems. I find laundry to be an issue. Dad's clothes & sheets & towels seem to go missing. The food is absolutely terrible. He is in memory care now, so I'm aware they will have a different menu due to swallowing issues - but he makes faces when he eats & he would always eat anything. The residents in assisted living complain about the food all the time. Some of the staff is absolutely amazing. Some - not so much. I know that's not really …
