Poor care, rude staff, an terrible food

My mother came to mcgregor assisted living because she needed assisted living quickly and it was one of the only options to get in fast. She is miserable. Staff and rude and mean to her. Food is unhealthy and highly processed. Would not recommend

McGregor offered very nice Assisted Living apt rooms. The facility was clean and staff friendly and helpful. The food was not flavorful.

Facility is very nice. Food is a neutral. Heavy doors on apts and no handicap access to get out of door. My mother can not open on her own. Very clean and staff have been nice.

I have toured this facility. It's lovely -- old style Cleveland! from the days when East Cleveland and Forest Hills neighborhood and Forest Hills Park were the creme de la creme of the area -- elegant, upscale, classy. The building is well kept and attractive. It is however, one of the most costly such facilities in Northeast Ohio (and I've toured almost every such place on the East side and had relatives/friends in several). Neglect

I can only speak for the memory support unit: the majority of the staff on this unit are very incompetent. My family member has live on this unit for a few years, and I continue to see the same neglectful actions towards my family member. Her ADLs are not being properly taken care of--no one makes sure her teeth are brushed, dry skin constantly, ted hose put on improperly which caused circulation interrupted.
