PositiveHe was only there a month, and he was going downhill fast and very cranky anyway, so it's kind of hard to know how HIS experience really was. But I felt okay with him being there. They were able to facilitate his needs (2 person assistance--which was harder to find), they had immediate availability, they were very nice and easy to work with, and the overall cost was reasonable.

PositivePeople were nice and seemed to care about my dad. I can't speak to the quality of the food because I never ate it and my dad was refusing to like anything at the time. It did look really good sometimes though the room was more than adequate. They did a good job, trying to make it feel as homey as possible, considering. The place always had a smell of urine. I think they tried to cover it or get rid of it, but it was always there.

CriticalWe paid $[removed] to get my father into Dorcet Place. He has Alheimers, their nighttime staff is not trained to handle this disease, she just calls the police when they dont do as ordered. We were asked to pick him up after 17 days & refunded nothing so we could care for him to be at home while they keep our money. When we arrived to pick him up the staff member was very aggressive with us. If this was her approach with him, of course he was aggressive. They will not give us corporate number & have said they will …

Positive[name removed] has been invaluable to me. I toured the facility several months ago. My dad was in a different facility halfway across the state. I was not ready when I did the tour to move him yet but she checked in over the months to see how he and I were doing. THAT is above and beyond. My dad was asked (told) to leave his facility and Sarah worked nonstop to help me get him moved. She called in favors and found different ways that she could help. We would speak at all hours of the night and early in the morning.…
