I've been here for 3 months. Only 4 of the umpteen promised things have been done. The food is getting better with our new chef-trained Kitchener Sarah. Maid service is a joke. A limited staff on the weekends has elderly residents stranded and ignored. During the week, service is poor depending on how far away your room is from the front desk. If you are diabetic, or suffering from poor kidneys, liver, bladder or heart problems, don't expect special diet considerations. I can tell you not to expect desserts like co…

We had relatively good service through 2024, but then it became difficult to reach anyone. We could not get her seen by the podiatrist. We had trouble getting her showered. We would find the room to be dirty, dusty, with smelly/full trash bins. Cleaning would be fixed relatively quickly if I visited in person. Phone calls were pointless. She was found unresponsive, and despite a DNR, she was intubated. She passed away later that day. We took her personal effects out of her room and were told that a pro-rated refun…

The staff is great, very friendly and helpful. I'm not able to see her everyday like I used to, since I'm out of state, and was very worried about how that would go, but she seems to love it. I'm not able to see how she lives day to day but I know she's joined in the activities and made friends whereas her previous place she kept to herself more.
