PositiveOur family's experience
I've only been at the cross roads and Dunlop house and they are night and day. At the cross roads we would always find my parents in bed sleeping the day away, not going to have a meal and if they did go to dinner they sat by themselves. The staff was rude to my parents and always told me they couldn't "force" my parents to eat or get up. At the Dunlop house I feel the staff love their jobs, engage with the residents and know how to speak to encourage the residents to live! They have assigned seating so people with…

Very happy with everything so far! Such a big difference from where we were to Dunlop house. Their staff treat my parents with dignity. My dad is getting so much stronger. Fingers crossed he moves from wheelchair to walker. Felt at [community removed] they were waiting to die and now they have started living. Staff is trained to deal with memory patients too
