PositiveMy Mom moved in here in Feb 2019 and at first she was having a tough time and felt like we didn't want to have her living with us. A month later she has made some friends and is loving living a Emerald Retirement Residence, she even said that she should have done this years ago!!! All the staff are always very friendly and the new managers went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for my Mom. Apparently they have a new and improved menu that is great and are adding a ton of new activities. Thank …

Criticalhi. the complaints I have been receiving are these, from a lot of the residence that live there... ive heard the food is not great... sometimes its cold...some meat dinners are very tough.. the buns are cold also. ect..a lot of them are afraid to say anything.... these elderly are old and need to eat but are not stupid... this place needs to address this and improve. also ive heard theres nothing to do for them.... they eat and then just go back to there rooms...boring...if something can be done for the money they …

CriticalAlthough the Emerald was fairly good, it did not live up to all of it's promises. My aunt did not like how the dining room was run. If she asked for something, like bread, she was refused. There were other problems, but nothing major. They should not advertise that they have things that they do not. I do not wish to answer any more questions from senior advisor. My aunt has passed away, and we cannot get a first hand account of her likes and dislikes.

PositiveThis place is amazing from [name removed] (one of the owners) to [name removed] and her staff. PSW’s Front Desk staff and Kitchen Staff! Oh and don’t forget the Maintenance Staff! Everyone does an amazing job and really care about their residents. My Mom stays there and I would not take her anywhere else!!! Thank You for Caring!!!
