Settling into a new home

There is no price for security... or shall we say it's a high price, but a luxury all the same. I feel great knowing mom is at Estancia Del Sol for several reasons. Knowing and trusting that your parent is safe and happy is an incredible relief. She is now comfortable asking me to leave, so that she can attend Bingo or any number of other activities. Elegant Experience

In my limited experience—having only visited Estancia Del Sol—I found it to be a very clean, warm, and inviting facility. My mom spent her first two months in Memory Care, where every aspect of her day was carefully planned and coordinated. She has now been on the assisted living side for only about a week. While I can’t speak for her entirely, from what I’ve observed, she seems to like it—even if she still wants to go home sometimes. Review for Estancia del Sol

I would have given it a 5 at the beginning, but now a 4. They said there would be a peer ambassador to get the new resident familiar with the activities. I did not see that happening. Room is fine. I was not given information about the length the shower curtain should be. So I bought one that was too short. The shower stall is slippery.
