Both of my parents live there. I visit weekly. Every time I go, both of them are well cared for. They love the food there. This is the best place for them. My mother can be a very difficult person. The staff there is very patient with her. We appreciate the constant communication from staff. We are thankful they are living there.

They are wonderful people who care very deeply about their residents. All the residents that I have met seem very happy there. My brothers room is always immaculate and the staff gives them a lot of attention. The day before yesterday was my brother's birthday and they carried a sign saying Happy birthday and all the staff and residents joined in wishing him a happy birthday. The first week of adjusting has ben a little bit hard on the emotions. They are reliable for our needs. Dining staff also try to help when able to do so. Food is good. Best help came from the home care members before he came to the American Village.

I have one parent in assisted and one in skilled it is nice to have them both in the same location and each received their personalized levels of care. The staff is well organized, caring, warm proactive, intelligent and receptive. I would definitely recommend F.A.V. to anyone looking for a safe place for their lo. My husband and I both have experience with several other communities in the area said this one is hands down the best.

My 93-year-old father is a resident of Finnish American Village's assisted living facility. We looked at several other places, and FAV felt like home to him.
