PositiveThe food at Garden Ridge is certainly above average, and the chef and kitchen manager make sure that those needing low/no sugar, low/no salt, gluten-free and other diets have alternatives to accommodate them. Desserts are made in house. The facility is clean. It has a large, beautiful, and colorful, courtyard, and an outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi. CriticalCare services - not able to judge as she is living independent. The one time she needed help was not a good situation. The meals are not good right now, short staff at times creates problems. Does not participate in activities and the value is overpriced. We had problems right from the start with her apartment not being ready. Management, while very nice people, doesn't seem to know how to manage especially conflict. The food situation has gotten worse. Some meals have not been edible. My mom keeps food in her apar…
