We visited Garden View with Dad several times as this was his choice and we wanted him to make the best decision. Each visit we were greeted with a warm welcome and a smiling face. [name removed] showed Dad around each time and she answered all of his questions and introduced him to other staff and residents. We have not been treated like a number-Dad is treated like family and that is important. I am very pleased with Garden View. Staff has been most helpful and always positive and cheerful with residents and visitors. [name removed] room has room for a queen size bed night stand, recliner, end table and dresser. TV sits on dresser. There is a large bath room with walk- in shower and plenty of storage. Staff are very kind and professional. The only things that we felt was not great. Food. They served cold plates a lot. The pricing went up several times. A couple months after they got there they were being charged for meals. Meals were not being charged when they first moved in. When Mom needed memory care they took wonderful care of them. Mom enjoyed being in the common area just watching and listening to everyone. After Mom passed they made sure to invite Dad to all there activities. He didn't feel like going…

The facility and staff are wonderful. Our problem came with getting my parents to reach out to them when they needed something. They are to used to doing for themselves. Staff has been very good at checking in and encouraging them to ask for help when they need it. They raised prices a couple months after they got moved in. I understand cost are rising. But kind of messed up the budget.

If you're local this is the place to go. The location is good to be able to visit my loved one often. The staff communication with the family is good. There are three meals a day served to the residents. Some of the activities include: books, movies, singing, outside gardening, and more for the residents to participate in.
