I just toured this facility staff was lazy and rude. The lead lady was unpleasant and did not seem knowledgeable or able to answer our questions. Hardly saw any response and it was 1:30 pm

Use to be a resident

I was recently a resident at this facility but I chose to move to a nursing home. The staff was rude. I did not get my medications correctly. No activities. Food was rotten. Unclean facility. I live in [community removed] and it's better here.

I toured this facility 4 years ago the nurse/lady in charge was very caring and she did an exceptional job. The facility was clean and staff polite. HOWEVER I toured again to put family in now as it is priority but the facility is not doing well now. It was dirty and the Memory Care side smelled of urine the new head nurse was rude and smelled of smoke. No activities going on the Memory care residents were not being engaged in anything. Lots of behaviors going on. Short of staff. Staff there was unpleasant.

I gave it a one star but should really be a 0. I was not impressed at all. Staff was sitting around talking while call.lights going off. Lady who did tour very unfriendly and smelled like strong cigarette smoke. Price is crazy high even more than [removed] across the road. Building dirty and sidewalks needed to be shoveled. Food was processed meat and activity calendar show the same activity over and over. Boring! nursing home rated better.

Unhappy

This facility use to be a very nice facility but has gone down hill. I visited a friend and he put his call light on and I kept track of the amount of time it took for some one to come it was 35.minutes. He was short of breath on top of it. I went looking for someone and I could not find anyone. Was going to call 911. :(

Sad more like a prison

Went to visit a friend at Golden Horizons memory care and it was so sad. One girl running around doing everything from dressing to food and memory behaviors happening. The charge lady came over and did not stay to help her. One resident trying to get out. So sad! I will be speaking to her family about moving her.
