★★★★★
PositiveSmooth transition & securely locked memory care facility. Accommodating staff. I would recommend it. Anyone who has a loved one with dementia needs a securely locked facility. Assisted living facilities with a memory care unit aren't securely locked.

PositiveI would definitely recommend them if your patient has some form of dementia. And i would suggest a strong look and get to know "the person in charge" and how long they have led the group. I like that it is a smaller facility than the others. They also specialized in dementia care - most seem to be in one of the various stages. Staff has seen about everything making care more consistent. Finally, from my view, it all starts at the top - you need the right leadership.

PositiveWhat we like the most about the community is the caring staff who truly understand dementia and how to care for the residents. The facility is modern, clean, and nicely decorated. It feels like home. There is a beautiful courtyard in the center that allows them to be outside.

PositiveThis is the 2nd facility my Dad has been placed in and the 1st I've felt completely comfortable with. The facility is very modern, clean, and absolutely beautiful. The rooms feel like bedrooms and not hospital or nursing home rooms. Staff is always very helpful and friendly. Nurse on staff is always available to discuss care and answer any questions. Environment is extremely secure and even has courtyard that has flowers and vegetable plants in a very relaxing backyard feel. The care is specifically designed for de…

PositiveWe chose Grand Brook because of the management staff, the cleanliness of the facility, the spaciousness of the rooms, and also the way that they do their meals. They have an open concept kitchen so residents can see the food being prepared and visit, it is more home like. That was one of the most unique parts of this facility, we did not see that anywhere else that we looked. The courtyard that they have is just beautiful, there is an outdoor fireplace, television, sitting areas, etc. I would definitely recommend t…
