PositiveLiving large at Tamaya!
Mom seems to be happy there. She's met some ladies which is a blessing. It's a very nice place. There is always room for improvement. The food is good, but mom complains. They don't cook the vegetables enough. They recently went up on their monthly fee and I'm sure it will price a lot of people out of This place. They keep the place very clean and organized. She enjoys reading the newspaper downstairs in the library every day and seems to enjoy the breakfast they provide. The care staff is very helpful. They have a…

Our family moved our parent into the facility in late 2024. We needed a solution that was convenient to our home, but would provide dining options and social interactions for our elderly parent. As soon as they moved in, the staff went silent and none of the services promised were fufilled. The dining room service is terrible - to the point of being a danger to residents on limited diets; one of the restaurants is always closed without notice due to "staffing issues." Corporate will demolish this organization. Their insistence on managing free standing communitie while sitting at a desk, out of state miles away. HR overrules the needs of the residents and no one blinks. However they ignore the voices of those that actually know & care for the people that call Grand Living home.
