By choosing Harborview Estates as one's senior home, all family members and friends can be assured that they are making the right decision. Harborview Estates offer residents several benefits and opportunities while living in the home. Caretakers are tasked on duty for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring that residents are provided with anything they need, whenever they need it. The home's residents are served three meals daily and a pre-bedtime snack. Residents have options of choosing their foods from dietary menus, including: ethnic meals, gluten -free, low sugar, vegetarian, and low sodium choices. The home has a beautiful scenery of the garden, and is regularly maintained through housekeeping and laundry services. The home strictly promotes healthy lifestyles, as smoking is not allowed. Some of the home's amenities include cable television hookup outlets, walk-in showers, wheelchair accessible showers, private telephone lines, access to nearby public transportation, resident parking, guest parking, and much more. The house has been designed and built with shared rooms, private rooms, and shared bathrooms. The home is fully fenced with door alarms for exit seekers. The types of care that are provided at Harborview Estates are: assisted living, micro-community, Alzheimer's care, hospice, and short-term care.

Harbor View Estates has a friendly, hard working staff that tries to provide good, healthy meals and kind physical care. However, activities for patients are limited and any meaningful physical therapy must be provided by outside therapists with help from family. Family members are welcome to visit patients anywhere in the house and to take them onto the patios. My husband also looks forward to visits from our dog [Name Removed], which is allowed as long as she stays on the patio or in his bedroom.

[name removed], the manager and owner, seems to care about lot about the welfare and comfort of her residents. When she discovers a food that a resident likes(such as spareribs and grapes that are among my husband's favorites), she adds them more often to the menu. She also goes all-out with a buffet, cake and music, to celebrate birthdays. She also makes adjustments for individual needs. PositiveVery nice place to retire. Aside from the refreshing environment, overlooking the ocean, all the staff are great. Everybody is caring and you can feel the comfort as soon as you get in to the facility. All the residents were treated as a family member.
