My mom recently spent 6 months at High Point, prior to transitioning to a skilled nursing facility. The memory care center is newly renovated, spacious, and beautiful. Memory care for my mom

My mom has been about of High Point (Asbury) of Kankakee for over 3 years. I am very blessed for the staff there, they take great care of my mom. I have never had any problems and she is always happy when I go see her. I wanted to share this with anyone that has to make this decision about their love one. High Point is a place you can be comfortable with to take care of your love one. They are willing to work with you and always keeps me informed. Good Overall

My loved one was welcomed into the community very sweetly. She did not want to be there at all and did not want to move. But they took her by the hand and got her comfortable. And by the next day when I came in to visit her, she already had three friends and was doing great. I've had some concerns about the medical care. She had a urinary tract infection for several weeks. Even after I told them she was exhibiting symptoms, notes didn't get written down and passed on to the right people, so I had to keep following …

Disgusted

My mom lived there for 17 years the whole entire time no one told us that they had been infested with bed bugs Tony one of the managements had told me that they don't have security security if they don't watch the camera's there's no cameras aren't they steal an abuse from these people this place is so disgusting they will put insurance on your family and won't even tell them

This place was not at all like they advertise it to be. Consider all other options before moving a loved one in here. I feel as though the staff is not there for the residents. It is not clean. Main meal is served at lunch,dinner is a sandwich. Difficult to get shower assistance if your loved one needs it. I am very disappointed.

I was looking for a place for my uncle. I was referred to Asbury from his doctor. [Name removed] called me right away after I left a message there and met with me that evening. My wife and I took a tour of the place and decided on it right away. [Name removed] and the team there were very helpful and made this whole process very easy.
