PositiveMy mom has been a resident of High Point Port Washington for several years now and we are very happy with our decision to move her here. It is a smaller residence which makes it feel more like home. The resident rooms are spacious, and they have several common areas where the residents can meet to watch TV, work on puzzles, read a book, or just converse with each other. The staff has been wonderful, and they work with us to make sure my mom is given the best care for her needs. This place has been a blessing for ou…

CriticalDo not bring your family member here! Terrible experiences! A very disrespectful place. The facility lacked the skill level to take care of a total care resident. I would not recommend this place. Nightmare!

This was my dad's, and my, first experience with facility based care and we were concerned that a wrong decision at this point would be detrimental for all of us- particularly my mother. I am here to say that our intuition about Ellen's Home was correct and …

PositiveVery nice facility, very impressed. Really liked everything being on 1 floor. Mom's concern was that it was too far from friends & activities, that ultimately was the deciding factor.
