We've lived at Silver Ridge for 2 months now. The care my husband received has been just great. He needs help with bathing and with getting to the restroom. Response time to his calling for assistance has been very good except for one time when we waited over 20 minutes. Staff are very friendly and seem genuinely concerned about the residents. The welcoming and professional staff and the cleanliness and newness of the facility. I would totally recommend others so contact [name removed] she is amazing and they have a very open door policy there and encourage visitation. Always a good sign of a well run facility.

Not a good fit for higher care needs

In general - the facility is beautiful, the people are nice. However, it turned out that my mom needed more assistance than expected, so her experience was not great. I realize that we got her into the facility quickly and during a holiday period, but she didn't even get a tour for 2 weeks. Additionally, she was having digestive issues, which I told the Med aide about on Christmas and even after New Year's, she had still not been given Imodium. They did not have an RN on staff/site as the sales team had indicated, …

Disappointing

If you are not independent I wouldn't recommend it. They are short staffed on a regular basis and those who can't get to activities or meals themselves sometimes just don't get there. The medication pass which by standard needs to be in a limited time frame varies widely. Sometimes the evening meds are given at 800PM and sometimes almost 1000 PM. There is little follow up with medical issues and the nursing "Director" seems to not understand the importance of this or she just doesn't care. Make sure you are availab…
