The activities were nonexistent at the time for memory care and that was disappointing. I did think the staff was caring, but it wasn't a great experience overall

A place like home

. I would definitely recommend Hillside Terrace as a quality place to live. I would give it at least a 4 in all categories. Hillside Terrace seemed to have a good sense of family and community. Staff were friendly. Felt more like a home than a facility housing many people.

A nice community with room for improvements

It hasn't been the best placement so far. We feel a little lied to about activities and events - those are things that were really important to us & they aren't happening. I know staff is hard to come by but there are hardly any residents here - why were we told there was such limited space? I don't think he's being mistreated, but when my mom was at [community name removed] the communication and programming was much much better.

[name removed] at Hillside Terrace Senior Living was very helpful and responsive to our needs. A friend needed to be promptly transitioned from a rehab facility to assisted living. [name removed] met with me when I walked in the door, we covered all the bases, and he quickly arranged for my friend to be able to move into Hillside Terrace within 48 hours. My mom lived here for 16 months with rapidly advancing dementia. I visited her nearly every day and had the opportunity to meet many staff and observe their interactions with my mom. Due to her disease she could become very difficult and the staff was always so kind and patient with her. She would light up when the aides and nurses came into the room! Horrible Experience

After respectfully sharing some concerns about the care my loved one was receiving, I was targeted and harassed until we moved out the end of June. Mother, [name removed] & daughter, [name removed] are rude, unprofessional and dishonest. I was called in the night, denied access to the building, lied to and about, and when I said we were on a waiting list somewhere else, was told to get out sooner. Staff is not adequately trained, and the memory care residents do not get the care or life enrichment that is promised.…
