CriticalThe apartment itself is pretty great in size and they live in there comfortably. The activities are good too. However, the staff don't care about the residents, the food has gotten really bad, they don't provide the cleaning services that are paid for (though the facility itself is kept clean). We're looking to move them elsewhere

PositiveStaff friendly & caring. We have a great 2 bedroom corner apt. with lots of windows. Very clean (remodeled after burst pipe a few yrs ago). Food 80%. Only one chair exercise class by a real person. Others are on You Tube - but it's a good 1/2 hr workout. There is Bingo 3-4 x a wk., Corn hole, Rummikub, Mexican, Rosary Communion, 4pm service on Sunday, Bible Study, prayer group, Monthly book group, arts & crafts. etc. I do cook some despite no stove. I have a toaster oven, crock pot, rice cooker (it can boil eggs).…

PositiveI stayed with my Mom for the first week of her moving in. So I got to eat the meals, deal with the staff, and engage in the activities and the overall community. That week left me confident in knowing the quality of care and the support available. It was a 4 out of 5. The only complaint I have is there does not appear to be enough serving staff for meals. Breakfast is lightly attended as only a 1/4 of the residents come down, but it can take an hour after being seated to get lunch and dinner. There is only an hour …

CriticalOne thing I would say is that they need to decide whether they are an independent living facility or an assisted care facility. They don't seem to want the responsibility of being an assisted care facility, but there isn't a lot of independence either. They don't provide a dish washing machine. She has to share a community clothes washer with the entire floor, which they can only use at certain times. They don't allow her to have any kind of stove or crock pots. They told her she could have flowers on her porch and…

PositiveEveryone was very polite and helpful when I brought my mom for a tour. [name removed] is well loved in the facility and knows her clients. We joined some residents for lunch. The food I would rate as good not great. The meat was easy for my mom to cut with a fork which is important at her age.

PositiveTour was very helpful. We were shown a model unit and an actual available one. We observed the home in action during mealtimes and. Were even offered a meal. Many residents out and about visiting with one another. Very friendly atmosphere and all residents were seemingly very happy to be there! Staff were informative and willing to help. It turned out to be our chosen place to reside.
