Activities were rarely organized or engaging. Basic care needs were often overlooked. The environment felt unwelcoming and institutional.

Lack of attention to patient

My mother fell 3 times!! Had met with staff and executive director after the first fall. The first fall should not have happened. Not enough staff to care about the patients. Meet with caretakers on why the falls happened. Took a video of no nurses etc in the hallways or dining area or tv room and patients were there.

Beware

Is it possible for negative stars? Chose this place to move my father-in-law to. We were made to believe the rooms were in such high demand for independent living that we put down the required $[removed] deposit to hold the room he wanted. Before he could finish rehab from a previous surgery he unfortunately fell and became unable to care for himself and needed assisted living instead of independent living, we cancelled his contract and was told we would get a refund when that particular room sold again (shouldn't …

Positive Experience

I moved to Homestead Hills in July 2021 after many weeks of researching senior continuing care facilities in North Carolina. I am happy to be residing in a relatively stress-free environment and able to participate and enjoy the many daily activities available to residents.
