My husband had been in Rehab for six weeks after falling at home a few times. Rehab staff recommended, "no return to home, but choose Independent Living instead. After an appointment and tour of Independence Village with our son and daughter,(the first place we visited) we were convinced we had found our home.

I would say that my only criticism isn't a criticism of them as much as it is a criticism of the industry itself. All the extra services cost a lot. My mom, unfortunately, took a drastic turn for the worse, and as utilized had to utilize like all their extra services, but the staff has been superb. They truly care and have been nothing but helpful.
