CriticalNot as I hoped
Feces remained in the commode basin for hours, no one responded to the call bell. My husband who was in debilitating pain was understandably irritable. He was called rude every time he questioned something. The supervising nurse told him “You don’t want to get on the wrong side of me.” On the plus side food was fairly good, halls are clean, there is little nursing home odor, it is usually quiet unless patients are allowed to blast their TVs all night without restraint. The facility is very clean and comfortable with some nice cozy spots on the main floor. It has a beautiful chapel where mass is said 6 days a week. A library with a good assortment of topics. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. I am happy to have made my decision to live there.
