PositiveLoved the receptionist and office staff, as well as the aides and medication aides - they were all wonderful. My only concern was that interactions with the Director of Nursing could sometimes feel a bit firm, though that may have changed since. CriticalDad was fine when he first arrived. Staff was seemingly attentive & he made friends. But then we realized that his room never got cleaned, and the staff often didn't do as they were instructed. Turns out only the daytime staff is friendly, nights and weekends are for handled by second string who are brusk and uncaring. Meds are a mess! Positive1. Can visit loved one anytime (after the initial 2 weeks). Staff is very welcoming when you go to visit. 2. Lots of activities daily for the residents to participate in. Unfortunately my mother doesn't participate as much these days. 3. The facility has a Facebook page where they post pictures of residents almost daily. She is encouraged to participate in daily activities that provides a stimulating and supportive environment. She has friends and is part of a community that she wouldn't have if she were at home. PositiveFrom the moment I walked through the doors. I could feel the warmth. It was nice and clean. There was a balloon volleyball game going on. Along with a baking class, they were making strawberry cupcakes. But what impressed me the most was how caring the staff was with the residents.
