I would generally recommend this community, but the initial transition had some challenges. There were issues with coordination and communication early on, particularly around care routines. While things have improved since then and the experience is now going more smoothly, I would advise new families to stay closely involved and proactive during the move-in period to ensure everything gets established properly from the start.

Beautiful Property and Friendly Staff

Like about the community: It's well maintained, it's peaceful, there are tranquil water fountains and lush grass, the food is delicious, and the staff is all very friendly and patient. The onboarding process and move-in could be improved. Some balls got dropped by the staff. It's all fine now, but for the price we pay for this facility, they should've been better prepared.

I toured this beautiful facility for my aging father. The staff was very welcoming and thorough. The amenities were wonderful and the support services are just what my father needs to continue to live somewhat independent.

Do not move there

Do not move to the Ivy under any circumstances!!! It has declined so much over the past nine years my parents lived there. All its services are poor and is just a money-grabbing, depressing place to live. Now it’s been taken over by a corporate giant that squeezes every drop of money out of its residents. The food and services have become so poor, and with staff turnover, no one takes any responsibility for all of the problems. would recommend

Cleanliness of the facility is a 4... but there are a lot of places under repair or with stained carpet which downgrades the look of the place a little right now. Presumably when they finish it will be a 5. The food is good. The activities are hard to rate because our mom barely does any of them, but what she does do are good. So.. 4? The value for cost is hard to rate because don't really have enough experience with alternatives. Feels like a 3 to us, but 4 might be more fair if we knew what it costs at similar or…
