CriticalThis place is a disaster. I've already told you guys DO NOT PLACE ANYONE THERE. Huge mistake. Caregivers especially are TERRIBLE.

PositiveMy parents needed more nursing care and although Ivy Park originally said they could help they could not. Their current facility has full time nurses 24-7. I thought the staff was pretty helpful with tasks around their apartment. The nursing staff wasn't all that helpful

CriticalThe person giving the tour was a salesperson in his mannerisms. He didn’t seemed concerned about our loved one. We had no contact with other staff.
Response from the communityDear Lona, Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear your visit did not feel as personal or supportive as it should have—we understand how important that is when exploring care options. We would appreciate the opportunity to provide a more meaningful experience and introduce you to the broader team. Please feel free to reach out if you’d be open to reconnecting. CriticalThey need new hallway carpet as it is very worn with some seams coming apart. Also need to touch up paint in hallways and common areas. Residents are very friendly so it's a good environment for new residents moving in.

CriticalI really wish I had read the reviews before I put my mom in memory care here. What we were promised when we toured is definately not what we got. This facility is very expensive and the memory care unit is not a safe place for anyone who requires advanced care. My mom has been here for 1 month and has fallen 4 times. 2 times required hospital stays. NOT O.K. the facility seems more concerned about taking your money then providing care. It seems to be working for them as we still have to pay the high rent and she i…
Response from the communityHello, I'm very sorry to read how upsetting this experience has been for you and your family. I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly so I can better understand your experience and ensure your concerns are fully heard. CriticalThe facility is very old and the company is more motivated in making money than taking care of the disrepair... I have worked with state licensing board to get old frayed hallway carpets replaced that are truly a tripping hazard. The fact that the licensing board had to demand it tells you how motivated they are to do any updating or deferred maintenance. Staff seems nice, but the turnover of their executive team is much like a revolving door. If my Mother wasn't so attached to her friend group I would move her.
Response from the communityDear Karen, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how important a safe and comfortable environment is, and we take concerns about the building condition seriously. Plans are underway to address the hallway carpeting, and our team is actively working on broader updates to the community. We also recognize that consistency in leadership and staffing matters to families. In recent months, we have welcomed a full leadership team and added new care team members to strengthen support for our residents. I would appreciate the opportunity to connect with you directly to hear more about your perspective and answer any questions. Please feel free to visit my office or contact me at 925-803-9100. Sincerely, Gilbert Castro Executive Director
