Our Family's Ivy Park of Wellington Experience

For us, the size of the apartment was wonderful. Plenty of room. Was generally clean all around. The staff that took care of my dad was very good. The administration of the memory care wing was a little inexperienced and it showed. The food was fine and they were always willing to accommodate a picky eater. I thought there could have been more activities to keep the memory care residents more engaged.

The cleanliness of the facility is a 5, but inside the apartment I would give it a 3. The administrative staffing -depends which person you're rating. The administrator, 5. Finance person, 1. Doesn't do what she says she will or return calls. 1. Food is a 4 but if you prefer to eat up in your room, they'll charge $15 to bring it to you. No charge if you pick the meal up yourself but 99% of the time, your order won't be correct in one, two or more ways. For instance, if you order salad, they often will forget to inc…

My feedback on Ivy Park

Overall Ivy Park is nice with some great amenities. The facilities are quite nice and offer some nice events. While they do offer a solid facility and related services, it was not as great as they made it seem it would be. My father had his issues and was difficult to deal with at times, their description of what they offered and what they delivered didn’t match. I would recommend Ivy Park for anyone who does not need too much attention just some assistance.

Walked in on a Thursday afternoon. [removed name] was more than willing to show me the studio model that was available for my Mom. There was no pressure A very nice visit. Sarah has followed up with a couple of phone calls to check and see how close my mother is to being released from her SNF

Feels like Home

The facility is in a good location and the staff and the residents make me and my wife feel like in a big happy family.

Good-sized apartments, but care has room for improvement.

Unfortunately, some of these have changed over the course of the past year. My ratings reflect where we are now. This is specifically about the memory care wing. Sometimes, communication with the staff is difficult, because they are hard to reach. They often seem a bit understaffed and forget requests I make when I call over there.
