It was a pleasant experience. The facility appeared clean, cheerful, and the residents seemed active and engaged. I appreciated that future plans for the facility included more activities to engage men. There was lots of bright natural light. The rooms seemed adequately spacious and I appreciated the use of technology for the safety and engagement of residents. The garden paths are beautiful. I felt it to be sterile. I was surprised how small the room was. The grounds were nice. The staff seemed to be very nice and engaged. They seem to have good off sight experiences. I am not sure of the cost versus value. I would need to see how my spouse would test. I believe that they try very hard to make a good experience for the tenants.

Ivy Terrace at Fullerton

Residents in a memory care facility tend to be watched by keeping the residents in a local area rather than letting them go to their room for an afternoon nap. Families must understand that their loved ones have to be watched so they don't fall or do something that endangers them or others. Peace of mind

We've had a very positive overall experience so far-especially considering they're currently going through a number of changes. The facility is generally very clean, and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. The quality of care has been reassuring. My mom is slowly declining, but I truly believe she's being cared for as well as can be expected, and that gives our family peace of mind. At ivy terrace, residents are given 100 percent of the staff's attention

The best thing is that it's just for memory care. All staff, activities and surroundings are appropriate for the residents needs. The director & support staff are responsive, courteous and professional. Ivy Terrace is a place I would recommend to anyone who has a loved one that needs memory care.
