PositiveAll of the staff at Juniper from caregivers to the Sales Manager truly care about every resident. During our initial tour, the Sales Manager excused herself to help a resident get back to her house for lunch. After visiting six facilities in one week, only one stood out as the place for my Mom: Juniper Village of Louisville!

CriticalOur experience at Juniper Village at Louisville made me very aware that there is a definite need for COMMUNICATION and Education at this facility! Both of these needs I shared with the management more than once; unfortunately my sister died before I can say if it was heard and, therefore, improved. Switching to a different hospice company was a big improvement for my sister and our family, also. I believe I would probably recommend this facility--with perhaps a "heads up". PositiveThe staff always seems to be soft spoken and calm, creating a calming affect and atmosphere. They understand dementia and how to approach people with dementia. Good at knowing how to avoid upsetting the residents and at how to guide/slide the resident into doing important things. No or few activities, no " enrichment program" except for church services.
