They keep families informed of any changes to the residents. They will call you to discuss changes or just updates or if the resident is in need of anything. They answer emails in a timely manner, so that is very helpful. They are very kind to my mom and make sure she is doing well. During check in, they go over everything and will answer any and all questions.

Staff are very pleasant and seem good with the residents. However I don't see a lot of interaction. They don't have an activities director, as i would like to see more frequent activities for the residents. The administration is a bit difficult to contact.

This place is horrible, I wouldn’t send my worst enemy there. Our mother was in the Alzheimer’s unit for less than 2 weeks. She was sent to the hospital after an altercation and they told us she wasn’t allowed back in Pettigru. How horrible to treat a human this way, especially one with dementia. Please make sure you look into other places as this one was terrible.

CriticalBad management, incompetent workers, unsafe conditions
Management has bad attitudes and don't care about the residents and need more training, some of the staff is not trained properly and shouldn't be medtechs especially with the responsibility of giving residents medicine, Mom stated several times she didn't receive her medicine; prices are too expensive for the care they are providing. Building is in bad shape with leaks, building roof collapsed, water damage, dont understand how building is still open. Removed my mom from this place and wouldn't recommend nobody to…
