Vickery Parke has been great. I have already recommended them to others. The staff that I have encountered have been very nice. They seem to like each other and what they do. I was there one Friday afternoon when a band was playing. I couldn't get my dad to go listen but since then he has gone to an exercise class and a history discussion. The staff is very friendly

It's been very good for my mother in law. One area that Vickery has challenges is their food service. The quality of meals has had problems and staffing has been most of the root cause. The facility is very clean my mother-in-law has done very well there.

The only point we hear about from my mother in law is about the food. Reliability of the morning staff seems to be an issue. Also the quality of the food has some inconsistency, examples that I know of is frozen pie delivered for dessert and a recent meal of soup was so salty it was inedible. Otherwise the staff is very supportive of Sybil. The facility is clean and [name removed] seems to be enjoying herself.

My grandfather is 93 and has lived here over a year. We had a negative experience elsewhere so when we began searching for other options locally, I was anxious. My mom and I toured Vickery Parke and were just immediately impressed with the family-style environment. The staff and residents are so friendly with each other and with visitors coming in. The Vickery Parke team is hands down one of the very best!! The leadership and the caregivers at Vickery Parke provide excellent care to the residents and their families. They go above and beyond to ensure that the residents have their needs met while enjoying fun activities in the building as well as outings. I would highly recommend them to someone looking for Assisted Living for Themselves or a loved one!!

Vickery Parke is a warm and welcoming assisted living community. The staff are the heart of the place- consistently kind, patient, and attentive! The community is clean and comfortable. Seeing the residents engaged in activities during visits always warms my heart. If you’re looking for a community that truly gives a feeling of “home,” that is what you will find at Vickery Parke.
