Lake Ridge is situated around two lovely lakes: the smaller houses a pair of swans and the larger one is stocked for light fishing. Lake Ridge Amenities The attractive 13,800 square-foot clubhouse at Lake Ridge is the focal point for all social and fitness activities within the community. Residents can engage in invigorating workouts at the fitness center complete with an indoor pool. Game and billiard rooms as well as arts and craft rooms provide the perfect setting for relaxing activities. In addition, Lake Ridge features a separate annex building which is used for meetings and card games. Outdoors, residents enjoy horseshoe pits, a basketball court, tennis facilities, and bocce ball courts. Lake Ridge also has a refreshing outdoor pool perfect for cooling off during hot summer days while an outdoor patio is also available for relaxing with friends and family. The in-house cable TV channel and monthly newspaper keeps all residents informed about everything that goes on within the community. Residents can also leave their car at home and go shopping by using the courtesy bus service. Area Lake Ridge at Toms River is located off Route 70 with easy access to major conveniences and attractions in all directions. New York City is one hour to the north, Philadelphia is to the west, Atlantic City is to the south, and beaches are half an hour to the east. Some popular attractions in Toms River are Garden State Philharmonic, Cattus Island County Park, and Bey Lea Golf Course. The Ocean County Mall can be reached in 15 minutes and Freehold Mall is 25 minutes away.
