PositivePeace of mind
I am very pleased with Lake View Terrace and it comforts me to know that my 97-year-old mother is in good hands.

PositiveFrom the initial tour to my last visit the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great personal care. High ratio of staff to residents. I would highly recommend.

CriticalWe cannot comment on the meals and dining as we haven't seen the food and [name removed] is picky. When it comes to the activities they do offer a good variety of different things for the residents to do. For the value for cost, I don't believe any facility is worth the amount that is charged. They could improve on the overall communication

PositiveIt will take about 3 months to adjust to the surroundings ...write your loved one's name on all items clothes etc...you will probably lose their hearing aides within the first month ..try and go with the flow.

CriticalThere is a lack of care due to staffing. The reason I pulled my loved one out is because I was on a three month vacation and I think I received more calls than when we had privateers at the home looking after him. He ended up having no strength in his legs when he came home, so all they did was put him bed and leave him there. He was in there for three months and ended up falling four times; he ended up in the hospital twice during that three month period, which was more times than when he was at home.

PositiveThe Lake View Terrace community is always clean and the staff are extremely friendly, nurturing and caring. We have always had a good experience. They try to keep the residents active, they get them up in the mornings and have them participate throughout the day. The take notes on what our loved one needs and always call us. The dining room is always very cute.
