Lakeside Place Senior Living

Lakeside Place is a warm and welcoming place! As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted with a smile and warmth. I work in the community as a healthcare professional and visit a lot of facilities; Lakeside Place is by far one of my favorites in Lexington County. Clean, friendly, wonderful staff- amazing place!

Staff is exceptional and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and even made suggestions appropriately. As a Health Care Professional. Great unless you need assistance

Staff are pleasant and the home is clean. Unfortunately they are not staffed to provide good care to residents. They are lean on staffing and unprepared for staff to be off. When someone is out the residents get less service. No clear action plan to handle the situation. There is a lack of leadership after hours. Quality of meals are not comparable to the cost of the home.

The was a good community. They had a small memory care unit, and not as many activities as other communities.

Better suited for someone who needs less care

We went with Lakeside Place because of the proximity to where I live and also it is a relatively new facility so the layout is really nice and beautiful. On the negative side, they do not really offer as much assistance as where my loved one was before. On the weekends it is very hard to get a hold of anyone, they do not answer the phones. It almost seems like it is in between independent living and assisted living. My loved one is happy here but it might be a little better suited for someone younger who needs less…
