CriticalI'm hoping this place is better. Moving my mom from [facility removed] which is a joke. Lady in charge was arrested for stealing money from the elderly residents. The staff sucked. CriticalIt has been a horrible experience and we will be moving our loved one within the next 30 days. They need to improve on pretty much everything across the board. They are currently under investigation by North Dakota State Long-Term Care. They do not work well with families and they lack communication. They do not speak the truth and they don't follow up. CriticalThis wonderful place is no longer wonderful with the new administrator. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. You will be glad you did! This is a horribly run facility! The administrator knew we were moving my elderly mother in law out. She had nothing ready. None of her medications, nor anything. I went to the office many times, with no one ever around. PositiveI would recommend the facility - accommodations are like a full apartment. Family can stay in the apartment with their family members. Our momma has been well taken care of.

PositiveIt's a comfortable apartment, with friendly residents. They need to work on consistent cook, and additional staff. They have had, way too much staff turnover. My loved one is very happy there. She has made some wonderful friends and that her family appreciates the level of care and safety she has there. There may be areas that could use improvement but overall we are all very happy.

PositiveThe positives of Lakewood Landing is that they each get their own private studio apartment. They can come and go as they wish but yet they are in a secured building with alarms should they wander. Another positive is that they are beside water. They can go out and walk along the water with a cemented path. The downside is the lack of activities for the memory care residents.
