About Las Campanas Las Campanas in Green Valley, Arizona is a 55+ community in Pima County. Residents of this active adult community enjoy access to all of Green Valley Recreation’s amenities, as well as a social center. This 55+ community is located on the west side of Green Valley, central to many of the recreation facilities and golf courses in the area. Construction began in 1995 and continues today. Las Campanas Amenities Homeowners pay an annual fee that provides memberships to Green Valley Recreation (GVR). Residents have access to all 13 facilities provided by GVR that include amenities such as fitness centers, hobby and craft studios, meeting rooms, pools, and more. GVR is complete with numerous outdoor courts, walking and biking trails, and fishing lakes. Las Campanas Social Center, one of GVR’s facilities, is located in the community. Residents enjoy living within a close proximity to this 70,000 square-foot clubhouse that’s complete with an outdoor pool, fitness center, aerobics studio, racquetball court, bocce ball court, meeting rooms and two tennis courts. Las Campanas Homes & Real Estate The first home in the community was constructed in 1995 and upon the community’s completion it’s expected to have 1,027 single-family homes. Active adult homebuyers are attracted to the variety of new and resale homes. Most homes offer 1,238 to 2,287 square feet of living space with two to four bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and an attached two to three-car garage. Designed specifically for active adults, the homes offer first-floor master suites, open floor plans, and private backyards.
