Magnolia Springs is a Wonderful Place

My mother has been at Magnolia Springs for a few months. I have been very impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - the life enrichment director, the individual caregivers, the front desk ladies, department heads, the kitchen staff, the drivers, the activities director, and the spiritual care rep. All of the residents I've met seem to be really happy to be there and the facility is beautiful and well taken care of. The food in the dining area is great, too. Review for Magnolia Springs Southpointe

They have beautiful facilities, friendly and kind staff, many activities, food was delicious, clean and large room. From their check-in process through the time, spent there the staff was very involved, caring, thorough, & I did not worry at all about leaving my loved one in their care.

Magnolia Springs Southpointe

Nice facility. Caregivers and staff are friendly and helpful. Food is pretty good. Laundry service for memory care residents are unsatisfactory. Management is working to improve this. Management is supportive and concerned when issues are brought to their attention for resolution.

Everyone there seemed happy and all the residents were met, as well as the staff were very pleasant. It was the only place we visited that all the residents seemed happy to be there and were enjoying their lives.

Marketing is everything

Magnolia Springs is expensive. People who live there as independent residents are treated as Assisted Living Residents. They have staff that had the job of constantly checking on residents and accounting for their whereabouts. They carry walkie talkies and a room pass key. Residents are visibly checked at 2pm, 11pm, & 3am. Staff goes into your room to see if you are there. If on occasion they knock first, they turn the key and come in at the same time. The facility did not meet expectations after seeing what the competition has to offer. There seems to be a lack of enthusiasm here and you do not get a warm feeling. The tour was disorganized and the employee seemed distracted like they had other things to be doing.
