We love the staff and facility. My Mom does not use the activities there. She mostly stays in her apartment. That is her choice, unfortunately.

there is always room for improvement.. The memory care center has 3 or 4 employees who should get big raises as they are gems ( people with real empathy)..there are a couple of employees at the front desk entrance who would be better off doing research in the back room as they are definitely not "People people". The food could be much better as they do not serve enough steamed veggies or fruit...and everyone is offered some pie or whatever EVERY night...the residents would feel much better on a daily basis if they…

PositiveHome away from home!!
I came for an unannounced visit to Mangrove Bay with a college friend. The staff was very accommodating and took us on a tour. We both loved the accommodations at Mangrove, and the wonderful size of the building. What I loved the most was that the staff knew EVERY resident’s name as we were visiting, and the residents knew every staff member’s name!! There was such an atmosphere of caring, and sharing between everyone!! I made up my mind immediately that Mangrove Bay was my new home!! And it still is!! Love it here…

I’ve been here for almost three years. New friends and many activities including singing in a chorus in spite of no confidence in my voice, animated bridge games, well taught art classes - and twice weekly musical entertaining all contribute to a lovely sense of community.
